The new wedding trend in 2010 is peacock feathers! I know, some of you may think I’m crazy, but the design and colors presented throughout the peacock feather can be implemented into a wedding in any form whether minimal or extreme. Here are a few ideas on how to incorporate peacock feathers into your wedding day theme:
Wedding Invitations – Plain white invitations accented with a peacock feather with a satin green or blue ribbon will be a big enough impact to begin the theme to your wedding.

People are slowly but surely starting to take heed and change their lifestyles in order to “go green,” however, many people feel that it is a burden to be environmentally friendly so here are some easy and quick ways to green your next event!
PRIOR TO THE EVENT:
Invitations
- Virtual invitations sent by e-mail or through social networking Web sites are easy and quick, in addition to being more inexpensive than using paper.
- If you do decide to print your invitations, select recycled paper. If you want to go the extra mile, print your invitations using a vegetable or soy-based ink printer.
Registration
- Using online registration is a simple way to manage, organize and track guests. Many systems allow guests to print their own badges or you could also use the same vegetable or soy-based printer to print them yourself.

I’m sure you’ve heard of that saying, “every little detail counts.” Although it may be hard to focus on the little details while you’re planning an event, your guests recognize how much thought you put into your event. It could be anything from the color consistency to the type of invitation you send out. Another little detail that your guests are sure to recognize and appreciate are the stamps you put on your envelopes if you’re mailing your invitations, save the dates or announcements.
