Wine tasting parties are a fabulous way to get enjoy time with your friends and family. Wine tastings are both fun and educational as guests are able to learn about different types of wine and where they come from.
Wine tasting parties can be a lot of fun, and extremely stress free during the event, if done correctly.
1) Purchase different types of wine: It can either be wines all from the same producer but different years, or wines from different producers but all the same year. This way you have a way of comparing the wines to each other. I suggest buying a least five different types of wines.
2) Be ready to provide wine glasses: Each person at your event should have a real wine glass. I think it is extremely tacky to throw a wine tasting party with plastic cups.

Tier cupcake holders are becoming a very popular alternative to buying a huge cake for your party. They are great for any celebration from birthdays parties, anniversaries, baby and bridal showers.
They work great because everyone can chose their own cupcake and there is little to no clean up from slicing a huge cake. Read the rest of this entry »

Entertaining is what we do! We love dinner parties and having friends over but don’t always have time to slave in the kitchen with your best recipes. Yes, I enjoy cooking but I don’t always feel like becoming a full fledged catering service every time I want to have people over.
Well when in doubt get party platters! Party platters are a quick and easy way to satisfy guests with finger foods. Sometimes having a 3 course meal is really not called for. You can get a variety of different party platters from a dish of finger sandwiches, fruit, veggies, crackers and cheese, and chicken wings! Read the rest of this entry »
