Couple Karaoke Night At Home

The other day my boyfriend, Josh, came to me with a remarkable idea for a themed party. He asked me if I could throw a Couple’s Karaoke Night, and then gave me a couple of ideas he had, and I just happened to elaborate on them to make a complete event. And now I want to share with everyone who reads so you can also throw a magnificent event in the comfort of your own home.

Take these few steps to make your event a complete success:

1) Buy a karaoke machine which links up to your television so your guests can sing the lyrics off the plasma

2) Invite the people you will have a blast with and go along with the theme

3) Have each couple dress up as a singing couple and encourage them to songs from that couples past or era

4) Once you receive the RSVPs then you can buy enough food and beverages for your guests

5) Having a signature drink adds a little something extra to the event, so click here for some great ideas

6) If you want to prepare CDs which have classic songs from the past, it can be given as a favor at the end of the night

Some couples you can immolate are:

Sunny and Cher

Danny and Sandy (Grease)

The White Stripes

Kindred the Family Soul

Faith Hill and Tim McGraw

With these easy steps you can throw a couples night in the privacy of your own casa and your friends will barley be able to wait for your next extravagant event. Plan, invite, party!!!

What are some karaoke ideas you have?

Two Drink Tuesday: Shots

There is a new song out by LMFAO featuring Lil’ Jon called Shots. I have to be honest, every time I hear this song, I become pumped up and realized it is a perfect song to play when hosting a party. People get out of their seats and instantly go to the table holding the liquor. At your next event have a signature shot and once this song comes on, give them out. Below are some shots you can use at your next party.

Keeping Track of Your Guests: Wristbands

Wristbands are a very useful instrument in making sure your event runs smoothly, whether there are 100 guests or more than 1,000. Using these identifiers can lessen many possible issues during your event. You can use these wristbands anytime you need a visual identifier. Here are a few examples of the numerous ways you can use wristbands at your next event:

  • Child-Parent Protection – Matching wristbands are perfect for circumstances where it is necessary to recognize the parents of children. For example; if you’re having a sleep-over or a birthday party, you would need to make sure that a child is leaving with his or her parent or guardian.
  • Admissions – When you use wristbands, you can sell day passes for amusements or events. Guests won’t have to deal with tickets and this will also save the workers time because they will be able to easily identify guests who have paid for a pass. If you are hosting an event that lasts for a couple of days, using wristbands of a different color each day can help registrars quickly identify whether the guest is registered for a given day’s events.
