Girlfriends Day Out In Atlanta: Book Release “Victim to Virtuous”

LADIES!!! Let’s all get our girlfriends together and spend an hour listening to an upcoming author in the local Atlanta area. Yolanda Marshall is an upcoming, new, inspiring woman author who I went to see this past Saturday. Victim to Virtuous was the book she spoke about and it is definitely a book which causes women to view their life differently.

This book was specifically written for women who have been victimized in any definition of that word. Whether it was mentally, physically, sexually, or if you suffer from self esteem or finding yourself, this book will help through that journey. All women have been a victim of something in their past, and with this book we can overcome it all TOGETHER. Read the rest of this entry »

Give Me $100 And I’ll Give You A Makeover

When I moved to Georgia I wanted a new look but didn’t want to spend tremendous amount of money giving myself a makeover. With that mindset I put my skills to work and pinpointed on the most important aspects of my revamped look. My hair, skin, and overall appearance. Whether you want a fresh look for a new job position, big move, wedding day, or upcoming event, here is the way to do so.

Hair: Buy boxed hair color and do it yourself in your bathroom. This way you can get the color without spending enormous amounts in the hair salon. Once your hair is colored you can then go to an inexpensive hair salon around the corner of your house. Generally, I would not recommend a salon you are not familiar with, but to receive just a trim, any salon will do. Women underestimate the power of a hair trim. Cutting a few inches off adds life and bounce to your one dull and dead hair style. ($25.00) Read the rest of this entry »

Need a Date Idea? Dialog in the Dark

When you are in a relationship for an extended amount of time it becomes difficult to generate new date ideas. It is also complicated to plan a first date, so I thought I could do the hard work for everyone and do some research on entertaining date ideas in Atlanta.

This past weekend Josh and I went to Atlantic Station and saw “the best exhibition you’ll never see”. Dialog in the Dark is a perfect date for you and your long time boyfriend, or for the guy you want to get to know. The exhibition has you go through some life experiences in complete darkness. Incognito – Girl’s Night Out

Usually I am giving you tips about hosting events at home, but this time I am going to go a different direction. This past weekend I went into midtown Atlanta with a group of friends and my boyfriend, and we ran into a great bunch of ladies. They were between the ages of 27 and 35 and looked like they were having the most fun out of everyone there. So, what was it that made them stand out from everyone else? Read the rest of this entry »
