Up Close & Personal w/ Brandi Starr on Community Central hosted by Arianne Price
A bridal shower is one of those parties that are both fun and practical at the same time. The obvious reason for a shower is to give things to the future married couple that will help them establish a home together. But the underlying reason for a bridal shower is that it’s a nice occasion for the close family and friends of the bride to spend a joyful, relaxed time together before the big wedding day. It’s a time for sharing funny stories, giving advice to the bride, and showing her love and support. The bride is the princess of the day, so be sure that in your planning you don’t do anything that will make her feel uncomfortable.
On today’s show Brandi Starr, the Owner/Chief Event Officer of Starr Studded Weddings & Events is going to provide helpful information on how you can plan THE perfect bridal shower.

Like many things, what is old is new again. Photo booths are a great addition to any wedding or special event. Photo booths are tons of fun and creates a high energy atmosphere for your reception or event. I SCREAM, You SCREAM, We all SCREAM for ICECREAM! As a kid I can remember hearing the bell from the ice-cream truck coming from blocks away. At that very moment the jump ropes stopped turning, kick ball games ceased, no matter what was happening at that very moment when you heard the bell from the ice-cream truck everything stopped and kids of all ages went running towards the truck, money in hand just to get a taste of the ice cold goodness.
Flintstones Push Pos were my favorite, before it was all over I’d have orange sherbet running down my hands and face but for those few minutes I was in kiddy heaven. The love of ice-cream doesn’t disappear once you become an adult. And with these great ice-cream drink recipes it just gets better with age! Read the rest of this entry »
