MTV Tr3s (the Latin station) is looking for couples in their 20’s who are getting married in 2009. They need to be from culturally different backgrounds. One of the backgrounds has to be Latin. They are offering the couples $1,000.
The filming will happen over a period of 10 days. This does not have to happen consecutively and it is not 24 hours. The small crew would shoot around the couples schedules and would film things like if the couple is taking dance lessons, final dress fittings and rehearsals. The 10th day would be the wedding.
They are not Bridezilla. They are not who’s wedding is it anyways. They are not looking for fights. They are not looking to make anyone look bad. They are interested in different cultures coming together in a wedding ceremony. They want to see how families from different cultures interact during this day. They want to see the happy ending. The inspiration for this board came from this Fleur gown by J Crew. I love the detail on this dress, I picture the wedding taking place outdoors using white as the primary color and daisy’s to accent.
“Part of the J.Crew Collection this luminous gown hashundreds of swaying, hand-sewn daisies. The fabric itself is a work of art, custom-crafted for us at a master lace house in Japan. Crisp cotton organdy with embroidered flowers. Strapless silhouette. Straight neckline. Empire waist with organza piping.”

Sprite® Soda) Read the rest of this entry »

The dinner was held at the fabulous Glenn Hotel in Downtown Atlanta. “The Glenn Hotel, the first boutique hotel in Downtown Atlanta, is a meld of sophistication, and Atlanta’s own southern charm, giving rise to a unique personality.” The theme chosen for the party was “Climbing the Hill – He’s not quite OVER the hill but at 35 he’s climbing” Read the rest of this entry »
