LADIES!!! Let’s all get our girlfriends together and spend an hour listening to an upcoming author in the local Atlanta area. Yolanda Marshall is an upcoming, new, inspiring woman author who I went to see this past Saturday. Victim to Virtuous was the book she spoke about and it is definitely a book which causes women to view their life differently.
This book was specifically written for women who have been victimized in any definition of that word. Whether it was mentally, physically, sexually, or if you suffer from self esteem or finding yourself, this book will help through that journey. Caramel is a sweet, buttery candy that has been popular for many years. These drinks use the sweet, buttery flavor of caramel to make delicious recipes that are easy to make and are guaranteed that you and your friends will love!
Caramel Martini
- 1 oz. vanilla vodka
- 2 oz. E & J Cask and Cream Caramel Temptation liqueur
- 1 oz. caramel syrup
Mix ingredients into a cocktail shaker then pour into a chilled martini glass.

- 1 oz. Bailey’s Irish Cream
- 1 oz. Kahlua coffee liqueur
- 1 oz. butterscotch schnapps
- 3-5 oz. chilled milk
Pour the Bailey’s irish cream, Kahlua coffee liqueur and butterscotch schnapps into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake quickly, and strain into a highball glass. Top with milk, stir well and serve.
Being twenty-two, Easter egg hunts are long gone, but I must admit I think about ways I would go about conducting an egg hunt for my future children. Growing up we used to dye eggs a week prior to Easter, then my mom would hide them the day of for my sisters and me. When we became a little older, she would purchase plastic eggs and put money inside as a little surprise. While that was an absolute blast, considering we were having fun and getting paid for it, with this economy the way it is, it may be difficult to achieve the same thrill.
